“LONE STAR GOAT CLUB SPRING FLING 2010”.
April 24th and April 25th, 2010 Check- in to start Friday 23rd at 4:00.
We have secured the use of the Kaufman Junior Livestock Fairgrounds, Kaufman, Texas, to have our show.
Saturday, April 24th show starting at 8:30 with ADGA/AGS dual sanction-Scott Horner judge, followed with NDGA – Renee Furst judge. Ending with our RAFFLE.
Raffle items welcomed.
Sunday, April 25th show starting at 9:00 NDGA Denae Henderson judge.

Arkansas Goat Producers Quad Show. April 30-May 2nd, in Little Rock Arkansas(moved up one week). Double ring buck show will be Friday night at 8. 2 doe shows saturday and 2 sunday. Tentative judges are Don Bergfield, Carolyn Kirwan, Anna Thompson-Hajdik and 4th judge pending. Forms will be up on the club website sometime in March( www.arkansasgoatproducers.com). We will be hosting the District 5 Nubian Specialty and the Nigerian Specialty.

Mid America Goat Days will be held May 7 and 8, 2010 at the Jasper County Youth Fairgrounds in Carthage, MO. This year Purina is sponsoring a Showmanship Clinic on Friday evening at 5:00 pm. Registration is free and open to any youth up to 18 years old. Purina will give t-shirts to pre-registered entries that have fed their goats Purina brand feed for the 90 days prior to the show. If showing a kid less than 90 days old, Purina milk replacer counts too. Bring feed receipts for proof of feeding Purina feed. To receive a t-shirt, registration must be received by March 23, 2010. Animals of any breed, bucks, does, or wethers, may be shown in showmanship only. All animals must have health certificate dated within 30 days of the show.
There will be open shows for bucks only and they must be registered with appropriate association- Dairy, Boer and Myotonic. Grand Champion (and Best of Breed) winners in each payout show will receive added money from Purina if the animal has been fed Purina feed for at least 90 days prior to the show. Bring feed receipts for verification. The 90 day deadline for beginning to feed Purina is quickly approaching. Entries are not due yet, just starting to feed Purina.

The weekend will also include a cook-off on Friday evening, 5 buck shows on Saturday- Boer, Dairy and Myotonic, several educational speakers on Friday evening and throughout the day on Saturday, and vendors of many different goat and general farm related products. Econo Lodge in Carthage will be the host motel.

Heartland Nigerian Goat Shows on May 22 and 23
The events will be held in Norman, OK at the Cleveland County Fair Grounds.
On May 22 we will have one NDGA sanctioned show (junior bucks, senior bucks, wethers, dry does, senior does in milk, junior does). The Judge will be Denice Hasty.
On May 23 we will have one show DUAL sanctioned with AGS and ADGA (junior does, senior does, bucks). The Judge for this show will be Joe Pilotte.
There will be showmanship offered on both days. These shows are sanctioned for Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats only. Show packets will be available online in March and hard copy packets will be mailed out in mid March.
